The MRF24J40is a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver targeted for the ZigBee™ protocol and proprietary wireless protocols such as the MiWi™ protocol. The MRF24J40 offers low power consumption and excellent performance with full Media Access Controller (MAC) support and an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) hardware encryption engine. Microchip now offers a complete ZigBee solution with the highly integrated MRF24J40 RF transceiver and free protocol stack which runs on the PIC® microcontrollers
